The incense of Parijat is a soft aroma, with floral nuances but with woody characteristics and touches of damp and fresh earth. His name means "flower of love".
The parijat is extracted from the oil of the flowers of a medicinal leaf tree. Its aroma has some similarity with Jasmine but its character is much lighter and delicate. These flowers grow in abundance in the state of Bengal (India) and with them the necklaces of offerings to the deities are made.
It promotes serenity and calmness.
